It's Flu Season

UCLA EH&S wants you to be safe and healthy with the new year. The flu is a contagious resipiratory illness caused by flu viruses. Get vaccinated and follow the tips below to protect yourself and others.

Get Vaccinated

A flu shot is the best way to stop the spread. The CDC recommends that everyone 6-months and older get vaccinated. Go to and enter your address in the Flu Vaccine Finder to locate clinics near you.

Call the Occupational Health Center at (310) 825-6771 to make an appointment for a free vaccination or call your current health care provider.

UCLA Students
