Food service inspection and food worker training information.
Through the Environmental Health Program (EHP), UCLA permits and inspects all of its permanent food facilities on a regular basis to ensure that they maintain the highest standards of safe food handling and cleanliness. At a minimum, all facilities must comply with the California Retail Food Code (CalCode). Inspection reports are available for public review at each of our food facilities. The EHP provides food safety training for food facility employees. Current training classes include a custom four (4) hour class designed for line level employees and an all-day certification class for management level employees. The EHP also reviews plans prior to the construction of new facilities or the remodel of existing facilities. To ask questions, voice concerns or schedule employee training, please contact the Environmental Health Program Manager.
