The CDPH will inspect facilities that handle, store, or generate medical waste to ensure compliance with the California Medical Waste Act.

How to Get ready for your CDPH inspection

  1. Schedule time to be in your area on November 8-9 to provide access to the CDPH Medical Waste inspectors.
  2. Review and prepare your lab, clinic and accumulation sites using tools and guides below.
