January 27, 2014

A variety of elements must work together to support a safe work environment, including:

  • training,
  • hazard awareness,
  • engineering controls and
  • safe operating procedures.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is the final defense against exposure to workplace hazards. However, PPE is only effective if the right ones are used for the right job and used and maintained correctly.

Use the resources and programs described in the following pages to keep yourself protected.
