Protecting the UCLA Community

Fire & Life Safety

[Billboard Landing Heading Description Placeholder]

Fires occur on campuses across the United States every day; here at UCLA, fires damage classrooms, labs, and equipment every year. To help prevent these incidents and to prepare for the unavoidable, each employee and student at the University should be aware of the often unique fire hazards of a large teaching and research university. The UCLA Fire Marshal’s Office exists to ensure adequate protection from fires, to educate about fire prevention, and to investigate any incidents that do occur on the UCLA campus.

If you discover a fire
